I am a very busy bee
I give the flowers fertility
I penetrate their nectaries.
I live in holes in walls and trees
Or bore my own where’er I please
I don’t need cells like honey bees.
Who made me’s quite a mystery
My mother‘s not a fine queen bee
I do not know my ancestry.
I never get publicity
You never see me on TV
Celebrity is not for me.
I do not have a family
There’s no one to take care of me
My life is very solitary.
I am an independent bee
I do not live in a colony
There’s no such thing as society.
